CASE STUDIES
The Grand Tour
Complex Tracking Shot Clean-Up
BRIEFING
When a critical tracking shot proved too complex or costly for others, we were approached to deliver a solution. The sequence involved a car entering a moving cargo plane, with fast camera movement and nine visible crew members behind a detailed net, requiring a complete 3D reconstruction of the cargo bay.
CHALLENGES
Removing nine crew members and equipment visible behind a net with intricate details.
Recreating the cargo bay while preserving the net’s realistic texture and depth.
Managing fast camera movement and motion blur with limited tracking data.
SOLUTION
Removed crew members and equipment seamlessly.
Rebuilt the cargo bay background in 3D to align with the camera’s movement and technical specifications.
Reconstructed the net in 3D, integrating it flawlessly with the new background.
OUTCOME
The production company praised the shot for its quality and seamless execution, achieving what was initially deemed unfeasible. The sequence aired to millions worldwide as part of an epic moment in TV history.

Barren. Feature Film
Enhancing a Key Scene with VFX
BRIEFING
For the feature film Barren, we were tasked with enhancing a critical sequence involving a dramatic cesarean scene. Although the practical effects team delivered outstanding prosthetics, the sequence required digital refinements to achieve the director's vision and ensure continuity across shots.
CHALLENGES
Adding realistic blood, stretch marks, and veins to complement the prosthetics.
Matching a close-up shot of a clean baby with the surrounding bloody and intense visuals.
Seamlessly integrating these elements to enhance the scene’s impact without detracting from its realism.
SOLUTION
Digitally augmented the prosthetics with veins, blood, and skin texture.
Added blood and other elements to the baby’s close-up shot for continuity and believability.
Worked closely with the production team over several weeks to fine-tune the scene
OUTCOME
The director praised the final result for its seamless integration and enhanced realism, bringing the scene to life in a way that matched the film’s intense and emotional tone.
